Motorola G62 5G – Price of the newly introduced in India begins at Rs 17,999

The Moto G62 is the newest mobile phone to join Motorola’s lineup of offerings. It is primarily geared toward customers who are interested in purchasing a device of a more moderate price point that is also compatible with 5G. The mobile device will soon be sold through offline and online merchants, including Flipkart.com. The display of the Motorola G62 is 6.55 inches and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It uses IPS technology. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695, which is the same chipset that can be found in the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro+, and Poco X4 Pro. The device’s operating system is Android 9 Pie.

The phone comes preinstalled with Android 12 and has an internal storage capacity of 128 gigabytes. Users have the option to select between 6GB and 8GB of RAM for their computers. A primary sensor with 50 megapixels, an ultrawide lens with 8 megapixels, and a macro sensor with 2 megapixels are all included in the phone’s triple camera configuration. The resolution of the front-facing camera is 16 megapixels.

Although the rear camera is equipped with both PDAF and quad-pixel technology, the front-facing camera is solely equipped with the quad-pixel technology. It features two stereo speakers, each of which comes with its own internal DSP as well as support for Dolby Atmos.

The Motorola G62, much like the vast majority of other products available at this price point, possesses a fingerprint scanner that is located on the side and provides IP52 protection against dust and water. Users also have the option to increase the storage capacity by using a microSD card.

Dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone connector, USB Type-C, and 12 5G bands are among the available connectivity choices. All of this is supported by a battery that has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is capable of rapid charging at 20 watts.

According to Motorola, the phone will only be updated to Android 13 since it will only receive one major Android OS update and three years of security upgrades. In addition to that, the company has integrated ThinkShield Protection, which guards users against phishing attacks as well as spyware and other forms of malware.

It will be obtainable in a Frosted Blue and Midnight Gray colour option respectively. Those who are interested would be required to spend Rs 17,999 in order to purchase the version with 6GB RAM, while the version with 8GB RAM can be purchased for Rs 19,999.
